Pakistan Coalition for Education in collaboration with ASPBAE - Adult Education and Lifelong Learning in the Asia South Pacific organized an interactive communication workshop on Monday 18th July, 2016 in Islamabad. The communication trainer Ms. Medha Soni from ASPBAE - Adult Education and Lifelong Learning in the Asia South Pacific conducted the workshop.

The workshop focused on the need for an effective communication system in civil society organizations, particularly focusing on identifying target audiences, developing main messages and using modern tools for effective communication. The workshop also helped the participants to brainstorm creative solutions on issues related to education in Pakistan and develop guidelines on the elements required for making a communication plan.

A number of young Communication Officers from various civil society organizations participated in the workshop. The workshop also provided a platform to address common issues and concerns they face regarding their communications programmes and to come up with creative solutions to tackle these issues
